Interpipe (INPIP)
Interpipe is a key player on the CIS and CEE pipe markets. The group is also the third-largest producer of railroad wheels worldwide. Interpipe operates four pipe and rail wheel producing companies as well as numerous trading subsidiaries globally. The group is controlled by Ukrainian businessman Viktor Pinchuk, who also owns assets in media, metallurgy, and other businesses. Interpipe will strengthen its vertical integration after completing a greenfield electric steel mill with annual capacity of 1.3 Mt of crude steel. The mill is expected to be launched by end-2011.
