Dragon Capital Head of Research Named Top Ukraine Analyst in 2008 Thomson Reuters Extel Survey June 18, 2008
KYIV, June 18, 2008 – Dragon Capital Head of Research Andriy Bespyatov has been named Leading Research Analyst for Ukraine in the 2008 Thomson Reuters Extel Focus CIS Survey released yesterday.
In the 2008 Focus CIS Survey, which allocated for Ukraine a separate questionnaire for the first time, Bespyatov took first place among Ukrainian research analysts in an aggregate ranking that tallies points given to analysts in all categories of the Ukraine survey, including those for individual analysts as well as analyst rankings by sector. In particular, Andriy came first in the Oil & Gas category and third in Equity Strategy.
Other individual awards went to Dragon Capital analyst Oleg Pronin, who was recognized as top analyst in the Banks & Other Financials category. Taisiya Shepetko received second-place honors in Capital Goods and third place in Real Estate/Construction & Development, while Ivan Kharchuk finished third in Metals & Mining.
In the ranking of individual analysts All Investment Analysts – Ukraine (as opposed to sector rankings), Dragon Capital analysts occupied 6 of the top 10 spots.

The 2008 Focus CIS Survey was open for participation from March 31 to May 30, 2008, and was based on input from top buy-side institutions investing in regional equities. Their votes were weighted based on relevant CIS market commissions paid and assets under management.
