Survey Names Dragon Capital Best Ukrainian Investment Bank December 04, 2008
Kyiv, December 4, 2008 – Ukraine’s leading English-language newspaper Kyiv Post named Dragon Capital the Best Investment Bank in its Best of Kyiv annual readers’ survey published on December 4.
This year the online survey attracted more than 1,000 voters who completed the Best of Kyiv questionnaire on the newspaper’s website to choose winners in 24 categories from among 120 nominees selected by a group of 50 business owners and top managers.
Readers picked the best among commercial banks, investment funds, insurance companies, auditors, passenger airlines, car rental companies, private health clinics, English-language schools, restaurants, clubs and so on.
Dragon Capital won the Best Investment Bank accolade thanks to its proven track record in trading on the Ukrainian stock market, raising capital via initial public offerings and private placements, advising on mergers and acquisitions and successful asset management.
«Dragon Capital claims to be number one within many segments of investment business. Few would dispute this. The company’s founding partner, Czech-born Tomas Fiala is the foremost authority on securities, investment banking, private equity and asset management in Ukraine», said the newspaper.
