We boast one of the most experienced research teams on the Ukrainian market, providing our clients with an up-to-date, accurate, and valuable insight that is essential for investors in this part of the world.
Dragon’s research department tracks and analyzes over 100 major Ukrainian companies, with special emphasis on the energy, chemical, steel, engineering, telecommunications, food processing and real estate sectors.
In addition to in-depth analysis of companies and industries, we produce monthly macroeconomic and biweekly fixed-income reports as well as regular political reports and annual Ukraine country overviews. Finally, every trading day our clients receive The Dragon Daily, which describes market-moving events in Ukraine and presents our analysis of what they mean for them.
Complementing our efforts to give investors a true picture of Ukrainian capital markets is our stock index, KP-Dragon. This free float market cap weighted index, developed by Dragon analysts, originally tracked the performance of 10 most consistently traded large- and mid-capitalization companies but was expanded to 20 stocks in February 2006 to reflect the Ukrainian market’s significant broadening. Financial magazine Euromoney has dubbed KP-Dragon “the first reliable index in the Ukrainian market.”
The scope of our work, however, is broader than pure equity research. In 2006, Dragon Capital evaluated the riches of wealthy Ukrainian individuals for the inaugural edition of annual ranking “The 30 Richest Ukrainians” published by the leading domestic weekly news magazine, Korrespondent. Earlier, Dragon analysts performed similar work for the ranking of the world’s richest people published by Forbes. |
