The sovereign remained soft, albeit no longer under aggressive selling pressure, closing 25c down. Corporates finally saw some buying interest after the NBU hinted at changes to its capital controls regime (see below), but buyers were disciplined, with trades going through on the bid side.
The KP-Dragon index closed 1.4% lower yesterday as most foreign-listed stocks came under selling pressure. OVO was the worst performer, down 5.8%, KER lost 4.5%, and IMC slid by 4.3%, albeit on tiny volumes. FXPO bucked the trend, closing 1.8% higher at GBp52 on $0.77m turnover, and AST adding 1% to PLN 27. We expect equities to trade higher today as global markets are generally stronger.
